
Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport App: Tabular Typography
The objective of this project was to create a flight information display system for the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to be viewed on a mobile app. Flight information needed to be relayed to passengers in real time, using hierarchy and typographic skills to ensure its readability and accessibility to people of all ages. Instructed to build off flight information based on tabular hierarchy and numerical data for an interactive interface.
Process
Sketched numerous iterations and researched the Glasgow International Airport to see what other airports were doing effectively and ineffectively, and then analyzed this information to make composition more constructive.
Digital Iterations
In these iterations, the organization of key variables of hierarchy, location, time, gate and flight information, status, legibility, readability, and accessibility are of top priority.
